Cancer Therapy in Clinical Practice Session 2a - Side Effects of Targeted Therapy (6401)
Targeted therapies are becoming more common in the fight against cancer. They are used in both haematological and solid malignancies and do not cause many of the generalised side effects common to conventional chemotherapy. However, they are not free from side effects. This presentation will deliver an overview of common toxicities associated with targeted and biological anticancer agents and their management with an emphasis on the management of skin toxicities.
